Creatik Turns Up the Dial with a Bold New Brand Identity

After 17 years helping clients define and express their brands, Creatik has unveiled a new look of its own. The independent Sydney-based strategic design studio has rebranded, introducing a sharper positioning, refined purpose, and a visual identity that brings its promise of Strategic Design Impact to life.


The rebrand marks a confident step forward for the studio, known for its partnerships across financial services, property and consumer sectors. While Creatik’s reputation as a careful, considered creative partner remains, the new identity captures the full story; one that’s bold, imaginative and purposeful.


“We’ve always been trusted as a thoughtful team, but that was only half the story,” said Kylie Gould, Founder and Director of Creatik.


“Creativity has always driven us. This rebrand is about showing up with that creative confidence while staying true to the trust our clients rely on.”

The refreshed identity represents a complete rethink of Creatik’s brand strategy and design system. It’s a look that reflects where the business is heading, uniting strategic clarity with creative expression across every touchpoint.


From within, the project was a rare opportunity for the team to practise what they preach.


“If you want to move the dial with a rebrand, you have to start with strategy,” said Louise Thomas, Strategy Director. “We redefined our purpose, sharpened our positioning, and created a brand that reflects how we deliver real impact for our clients.”

The refreshed brand launches alongside a new website and suite of collateral that bring Creatik’s creative and strategic capabilities together in one clear story.


How we used our own framework to reimagine Creatik

When we talk about Strategic Design Impact, we’re talking how strategy and creativity work together to move brands forward. Our rebrand was a chance to practise what we preach, give ourselves the full VIP treatment and show what happens when strategy and design work in perfect balance.


Defining our direction

We began upstream, where brand strategy and creative thinking set the direction. For us, this stage wasn’t just strategic, it was deeply creative.

Creativity has always been at the heart of what we do, and it was time for our brand to capture both our strategic depth and creative strength. Over 17 years, we’ve grown from a small design studio into a trusted strategic partner for complex brands across financial services, property and consumer sectors. That evolution called for a brand that reflected who we’ve become.


The idea of Excellence in Action became our internal mantra, and our brand promise soon followed, Strategic Design Impact, expressing how we think smart, create impact and raise the bar.


Designing the idea

The concept design was pivotal to our rebrand. We set out to transform our strategy into something tangible, to amplify what’s always been there and turn Creatik up a notch. This is where strategy becomes real. Our creative direction embraced boldness and imagination: confident typography, a vibrant yet balanced colour palette, and a dynamic visual system designed to flex across every touchpoint. The result reflects who we are, our vision for the future and giving our work the confidence and energy to stand out in any context.

 

Delivering the details

Downstream, we’ve been building the systems and tools that make the brand easy to use and consistent everywhere. Hello new website. Looking good LinkedIn. Credentials deck, tick! We’re still refining and rolling out pieces along the way, but the result is already taking shape; a living, flexible brand ecosystem that captures who we are today and where we’re headed.


Making an impact

For us, this rebrand was a live demonstration of our philosophy: that clarity, creativity and consistency create lasting impact. It reaffirms what drives us — a commitment to think smart, create impact, stand together and raise the bar.


Strategic Design Impact isn’t just what we deliver. It’s how we work — and this rebrand is proof.
